Black on Black on Black

On Wednesdays, we wear BLACK! Do you love wearing black, all black and nothing but black? As what Wednesday Addams always says " I'll stop wearing black when they invent a darker colour." One color that's always on TREND and on FLEEK. As for me, I do love black like how Pierre-Auguste Renoir loves it as well. Because as we all know, it is a versatile piece of clothing. Base on my perspective black is actually a happy color. Every black clothing can make a striking impression. Even though you are wearing an "All Black" fit. People who have a knowledge or background when it comes to fashion will basically know right away if you have a good fashion taste. For many designers, black is their mainstay like Neiman Marcus, Gareth Pugh, Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo designs.

Black is associated to formal wear. It's stately, elegant, attractive, and respectful all at once — you'll never be sorry to wear it when you're enjoying the finer things in life. A study even confirms my statement "That Wearing Black Clothing Makes You Appear More Attractive, Intelligent, and Confident".

All black can make us look a little pale and adding a bit of color solves that problem. Therefore, I incorporated my outfit with this tremendous bag to make a statement. Pure class and sophistication, isn't?

Life is better with an all-black wardrobe and I am at my most confident when wearing a sleek, black ensemble. Back in my childhood days, If I can still remember.. I love wearing black outfits. Or just about anything that has black color in it. Because it's so easy to style and it feels very classy. However, my mother doesn't like the idea. She always tells me that I should go change (sigh). But, what can I do she's the real "MADAME" here. So, as time goes by I've learned to love and experiment on bold colors. It's pertinent! Now, I know how to mix and match diverse kind of patterns (kuddos to my mother dear). Do you want me to show you guys my closet? Ok.. maybe next time. I have to think about it first (HAHA).

There are a few style tips that I can share with all of you. However, you must know a little something first before embracing such striking color piece. Black is neat and stylish. Other's will say if you go outside wearing an "All Black" fit it's like you're going to attend your enemies funeral. Or you're too emo or something. It's already a fact that black makes us even more slim. Therefore, this one is perfect if you want to hide those gruesome fats. Black color doesn't choose any skin tone. I swear to you, that it will look good and making your skin color stands out. Black looks as good on men as it does on women. Therefore, it's safe to say that this color is not a sexist nor a racist one.

The dress code makes clothes buying and getting dressed in the morning easier. Black, however, can also be one-dimensional and boring, and while it may seem easy to dress in all black, there are a few rules to keep in mind.

Style Tips 101

DO's

  • Always do check on the fabrics. Make sure that the choice of your fabric is appropriate for the season. Like, right now here in our country, Christmas is pretty much around the corner. In line with this, a cold breeze is what we're just experiencing. Hello! With all the "Bagyos" here (haha). Wool fabrics will only look remarkable like as in right now. However, it's going to be out-of-place during the summer. For now layering is all you need.

  • As mentioned awhile ago. Black fits can make you look slim. So, always remember when you combined a black-on-black, fit becomes even more imperative and flattering.

  • It adds attention and fierceness when you put together a BOLD, colorful accessories. This will complete and become the STATEMENT piece of your outfit. For me, I'm wearing a colored ankle strapped heels. I so...so..so love these heels of mine. One of my go-to shoe with any black on black outfit that's inside my closet.

  • Put on a sleek and on fleek make-up. In this part, you don't have to be afraid of wearing too bright or too sexy colors. If you want a more professional but with a little illusion of sassiness: You may want to use red lippies and dark eye shadows. Don't want too much drama? No need to worry, girl! Nudes are also acceptable. Just choose a darker shade of nudes. YAS!!!! You read it, right! There are tons of dark nudes out there. Ofcourse, you don't want to look like that you have just risen from down under (LOL).

DONT's

  • Don't let your momma buy you any piece of black clothing. Because she wouldn't just understand that there are many shades of black out there. And you ofcourse knows that there are ACTUALLY a so called grey-black, dark-black, fake-black, cheap-black etc.

  • You don't need someone wearing florals to add some spunk to your day, you need to reevaluate your present condition.

  • You don't need to show off. Because definitely, black will speaks for itself. You'll stand out and even draw more attention than trying to wear a super bright outfit. And people wouldn't hate you for that.

  • Don't let your pet/s go near you! If you know what I mean. Sure, it's a little annoying, but lint rollers are cheap and notable. Or you can just wipe the palm over your hand over your pants or shirt or coat and errant hairs go bye-bye. Because you love your pets so much.
